Mango Spring Roll

Mango Spring Rolls are my favorite fried snack. They’re easy to make, so give it a shot!

For Mango Spring Roll:

  • Oil for deep-frying
  • 1 box cream cheese
  • 10 sheets of spring roll wrapper
  • 5 mangoes, sliced 1-inch-thick lengthwise

For Dusting:

  • 1/2 cup refined sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon powder

For the paste:

  • 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsps. water

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil to 350º F for deep-frying the spring rolls.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon powder for dusting in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the paste by mixing together the flour and water. Set aside.
  4. Pipe cream cheese on the spring roll wrapper, at least 5 inches lengthwise. Put a slice of mango on top and spread paste at the edge of the wrapper. Fold both ends and roll gently.
  5. Deep-fry the spring rolls until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper napkins, and keep warm.  Before serving, dust with cinnamon sugar.
