Mango Spring Rolls are my favorite fried snack. They’re easy to make, so give it a shot!
For Mango Spring Roll:
- Oil for deep-frying
- 1 box cream cheese
- 10 sheets of spring roll wrapper
- 5 mangoes, sliced 1-inch-thick lengthwise
For Dusting:
- 1/2 cup refined sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon powder
For the paste:
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsps. water
Instructions:
- Heat oil to 350º F for deep-frying the spring rolls.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon powder for dusting in a bowl. Set aside.
- Prepare the paste by mixing together the flour and water. Set aside.
- Pipe cream cheese on the spring roll wrapper, at least 5 inches lengthwise. Put a slice of mango on top and spread paste at the edge of the wrapper. Fold both ends and roll gently.
- Deep-fry the spring rolls until golden brown.
- Drain on paper napkins, and keep warm. Before serving, dust with cinnamon sugar.
